VideoBloom's VIEW Index Highlights Continued Online Video Growth Among NASDAQ and Dow Jones Companies

Home Page Video and Video Centers Gain in Popularity

Denver, CO December 9, 2008 -- VideoBloom's VIEW Index, or Video-Enabled Web Index, reports that online video use continues to increase across the board. Over the past seven months, 18% of NASDAQ 100 companies and 4% of the Dow Jones 30 companies have expanded their Internet video usage.

In comparison, the Dow Jones online video rate of growth is much smaller, due largely to the fact that most were early adopters of online video; 93% of Dow Jones companies used Web video in February and 97% in September. Currently, only one company on the Dow Jones does not employ Internet video on their Web site.

NASDAQ companies, though, are catching up and often are using online video in advanced ways. For example, the introduction of "Video centers," which are comparable to a corporate TV channel, has increased by 2% while access to said video centers from the home page has increased by 4%. As well, the VIEW Index shows that 4% more of NASDAQ companies are utilizing online video in an advanced manner, for applications other than simply providing information.

Internet video on Web sites' home pages also has continued to rise (7% among Dow Jones companies and 2% among NASDAQ companies) as more and more companies discover the value of emphasizing their video content.

For example, Johnson and Johnson's home page now features inspiring stories from employees and customers. A new mom describes how Johnson and Johnson products help her twins sleep through the night while another video talks about Safe Kids, a program designed to reduce childhood injuries. As well, Disney's home page highlights their video content with short clips from their wide variety of TV shows, movies and online games.

Kaango and VideoBloom Enter Exclusive Deal to Video-Enable Classifieds

200 Newspapers Will Soon Have Innovative Online Video Option.

Denver, CO September 248, 2008 -- VideoBloom and Kaango joined forces to deliver cutting-edge classified solutions to the media industry. The exclusive deal pairs Kaango's classified ad software with VideoBloom's Web video technology to allow publishers to easily provide advertisers with online video classified ads.

VideoBloom will handle Kaango's entire Internet video classified infrastructure, including powering Kaango's video players, setting up APIs to allow advertisers to publish their own videos, and hosting and streaming the Web video classifieds from VideoBloom servers.

Michael S. Kranitz, CEO of Kaango is enthusiastic about the alliance. "We're getting unparalleled online video expertise from VideoBloom, as well as their turnkey solutions that can be easily integrated into our infrastructure," he says.

Video classifieds are a fast-growing revenue source as more newspapers transition from print media to the Web. Video ads offer advertisers a unique way to present their products and can help sell everything from pets and furniture to cars and real estate properties. Because the ads are informative, entertaining and high impact, they typically garner more views and more sales.

Antoine Toffa, VideoBloom's CEO and Founder, sees the partnership with Kaango as an exciting development for both publishers and their customers. "This new relationship will allow media's online audience to create their own video classifieds from their videos or pictures, and in the process create higher engagement. It also gives media companies a cost-effective advertising solution for individual advertisers and a critical new revenue stream," he says.

About Kaango
Kaango powers the online classified ad markets for more than 200 newspapers, Web sites and television stations nationwide. Kaango enables its media partners to efficiently originate classified ads destined for display on their own Web site, other Web sites or print. Kaango also provides its partners with strategic guidance in the establishment of their online classifieds.

VideoBloom Announces 3,000 Customers and Partnerships with Traditional and New Media Companies

Companies Continue to Discover the Power of Online Video

Denver, CO September 18, 2008 -- As VideoBloom celebrates over 3,000 customers, their online video advertising and distribution solutions continue to attract an ever-growing number of companies.

VideoBloom recently started working with The Examiner, a successful print media company, which is transitioning to the Web with a variety of online offerings. As well, VideoBloom is among the select few Google chose as a Video Ad Marketplace partner, affiliates who work with small and medium-sized enterprises to create video ads for TV and online distribution.

Companies are discovering how informative, memorable and highly targeted Web video can be and are using it for a variety of purposes, including: advertising, branding, testimonials, product launches, training, and even operating manuals. And it's not limited by industry. Businesses from hotels to construction companies to law offices to gyms are benefiting from the flexibility and affordability of the online medium.

As companies delve further into Internet video publishing, the features they most commonly look for are: a flexible online video publishing and management platform, sophisticated analytics, multi-purpose video players and an end-to-end solution for greater peace of mind.

VideoBloom's CEO Antoine Toffa says, "It's exciting to deliver on the promise of online video. Businesses can get new sales leads and higher revenues by using Web video because our products allow them to better reach their audience and convert prospects into buying customers. VideoBloom Introduces Innovative "Wysiwyg" Instant Video Resizer Tool

Video resizer makes online videos quick and easy to resize.

Denver, CO May 1, 2008 -- VideoBloom continues its tradition of creating cutting-edge online video technology with the introduction of a unique what-you-see-is-what-you-get or "wysiwyg" video resizer tool. The tool is the first instant video resizer and will allow users to easily and quickly resize Web videos.

Acting much like an object in Word or PowerPoint, the instant video resizer lets users simply click and drag the sides of the video to their preferred size, even while the video is playing. Users can then copy the given code and paste it into their Web site, allowing for painless Internet video embedding.

Because the instant video resizer automatically resizes the video dimensions, users no longer need to understand pixel measurements or aspect ratio, previously necessary for video resizing.

VideoBloom developed the video resizer tool after finding that many customer questions involved determining the right size of video or the correct aspect ratio of video for their Web sites. "We wanted to take the guesswork out of video resizing," said VideoBloom CEO Antoine Toffa. "Most people simply want video to fit on their Web site or blog and they aren't concerned with what 320 pixels x 240 pixels looks like. With our video resizer, users can get the video resized and up where the public can enjoy it, in an instant."

VIEW Index Offers Insight into NASDAQ 100 Companies' Online Video Use

Media, Internet, Gaming and Software Industries Lead Internet Video Revolution

Denver, CO, April 28, 2008 -- Recent findings from VideoBloom's Video-Enabled Web Index, or VIEW Index, report that 48% of NASDAQ 100 companies have online video on their Web site; 52% do not offer any Web video. Many of the companies that do not have online video are in the pharmaceutical, semi-conductor and computer hardware industries, while the media, Internet, games and software industries feature Internet video prominently.

Among the 48 companies that have Web video on their Web site, there is a variance in the number of clicks it takes to get from their home page to the online video (8 companies actually showcase video on their home page). Sixteen companies have Internet video one click away, ten companies take two clicks to find the online video and twenty-two require three clicks or more.

As well, the VIEW Index reports that 26% of the companies use Web video in an advanced manner, meaning video is used to further ecommerce transactions or improve a corporate image rather than simply provide information.

For example, mega-grocer Whole Foods maintains a video blog where CEO John Mackey can discuss the latest food trends while software giant Adobe effectively employs video for online training. Dell's "Studio Dell" offers insights and tech tips for home, small business and professional users while the popular Garmin's GPS Systems features a powerful video of a GPS unit in action with a testimonial from a US soldier driving his Hummer into Baghdad.

Antoine Toffa, founder and CEO of VideoBloom notes, "When compared with our prior survey of Dow Jones companies, it becomes apparent that the bigger the company, the stronger the likelihood they will use video. Today, the larger companies' online video use tends to be more sophisticated and prominent but the smaller companies' Web sites are catching up and becoming more video-enabled."

Online Video Innovator Launches the VideoBloom Video-Enabled Web Index or
VIEW Index

VIEW Index Finds 13% of Dow Jones Average Companies Already Have Video on Their Web site's
Home Page

Denver, CO, March 13, 2008 - VideoBloom has done it again. After noticing there was a plethora of research discussing the demand side of online video yet little research focusing on the supply side, VideoBloom created the Video-Enabled Web Index, or VIEW Index. The VIEW Index will give insight into the companies and sectors that are using online video and how they are using it.

By using a methodology that analyzes in fine detail 17 key Web site variables, the VideoBloom VIEW Index™ tracks, for example: placement of video within the Web site, the Web video formats used, the uses of online videos, and if there is an Internet video center. VideoBloom VIEW then offers analysis of these trends along groupings of companies (Dow Jones, Nasdaq 100, etc.) and major vertical markets (travel, real estate, retail, blogs, etc.).

VideoBloom VIEW breaks down its results into three main percentages that indicate organizations' use of video on their main Web sites. For example, in February 2008, the VIEW main index for the 30 Dow Jones companies was 13-93-7, which indicates that 13% of the companies had video on their home page, 93% had video on their site, and 7% didn't use video at all. As more and more companies discover the effectiveness of Web video, this information will become an invaluable resource and window into online video's evolution.

While VideoBloom VIEW is effective for looking at larger Internet video trends, it also allows for deeper analysis. For instance, of the 33% of companies that use online video in an advanced manner (various video players, contextual integration of video, call-to-action after video), only half of them (five) use a sophisticated "Video Center," which allows them to manage large amounts of Web video content, pre-set playlists, and user playlists. Among those companies, there were notable results. As expected, technology-related companies, Intel and Hewlett-Packard, and the entertainment giant, Disney, have extensive online video centers. But surprisingly, Home Depot and Wal-Mart also feature substantial online video offerings. HomeDepot.com offers instructional videos, product demos and how-tos while Wal-Mart showcases environmental, historical, and associate videos.

Just as importantly, VideoBloom VIEW also highlights the absence of Web video. The VIEW Index found telecom companies AT&T and Verizon's home pages lacking any video with only a few clips buried within their sites. As well, United Technologies, which owns a video surveillance products company, barely uses online video on its Web site at all.
